Lindale Methodist Church
The Mission of Lindale Methodist Church is to respond to the good news, revealed in the gospel message of God’s love, through worship, fellowship and outreach by serving the local community and beyond as Holy Spirit-led disciples and followers of the teaching and example of Jesus Christ.
Services:
- Family Worship (10.30 am)
- No Junior Church (see Thursday ‘Rock Club’ instead)
- All Age Worship (10.30 am) on first and third Sunday each month
- Holy Communion held once per month.
- Baptisms held as part of Sunday Service.
- Afternoon Joint Remembrance Service held with village Community Centre each year

Monday – Drinks & Chat for elderly and disabled (Monday afternoon, each week) Tuesday - Women’s Institute (Third Tuesday evening, each month) Thursday - Rock Club (children aged 4 to 11) -Thursday afternoons after school during term. Thursday – Church Fellowship with invited speakers (Third Thursday evening, each month) Saturday – Open Door Coffee Morning (First Saturday, each month) |
General Information:
Lindale is located on the north side of Wakefield on Brandy Carr Road, Kirkhamgate. The Village Community Centre is located next door and the Junior and Infant school directly across the road. The School hold their regular Christmas Concert in the Church every year and many other social events and meetings are regularly held at the church.
