Welcome to the website of the Wakefield Methodist Circuit. We are a group of
Christians in 14 Churches across the Wakefield area, stretching as far north as Woodlesford and as far south as Crigglestone. A diverse Group of Christian
Communities Serving a varied set of needs. We seek to show love to the communities that we're in and exercise a ministry of love, care and concern to all we meet.You'll get a warm welcome at any of our congregations. Please drop in and visit any of our Church communities.
The calling of the Methodist Church is to respond to the Gospel of God's love in Christ and to live out its discipleship in worship and mission.
Inspired by Our Calling, we aim to:
- increase awareness of God's presence and to celebrate God's love.
- help people to grow & learn as Christians through mutual support & care.
- be a good neighbour to people in need and to challenge injustice.
- make more followers of Jesus Christ.
